In FAST Page Builder, there are specific Baseline roles for each FAST application that enable behind-the-scenes functionality such as editing and approving reporting pages.
BUILDER_EDITOR_FASTapplication role can edit and delete reporting pages
BUILDER_APPROVER_FASTapplication role can approve reporting pages
To create a reporting page, you must either have a master role assigned to you, or have your site administrator assign a role which allows you to create reporting pages. Speak to your site administrator for assistance in adding you to an appropriate role. (See the Online Help for Site Administration or specific FAST applications on how to add new roles.)
These roles must be assigned to users within the Page Builder application. In addition, to access the page builder functionality, the users must also be granted access to the menu options in the corresponding FAST application.
If an end user is going to create their own reporting page, you can set up roles for non admin users.
Note that these roles are named with the specific application name (application) in italics following the name of the role. For example, BUILDER_EDITOR_FASTHR or BUILDER_APPROVER_FASTFINANCE. |
