The queries in the list are from the Query Builder page. If a column in the query is using a function, that column needs to have an alias name. For example, SUM(realamount) AS realamount. About the Query Builder |
From the list, Select a Query. The Query Comments display and the code for the query lists in the box.
The query code will be shown in this text box.
If the query cannot not run, then you will also see an error message below the text box.
When you select a query for a reporting page, you are taking a snapshot of the query at this point. This means that if you make any subsequent changes to the original query, those changes will not flow through to this report. Any changes that you need to make to this report must be made through the report wizard.
Click Next to proceed to the next step.
Note that if there is an error in the Query, an error message will alert you after you click Next. The error message will be displayed in the lower left corner of the page and you will not be able to proceed until it is resolved. |
